Assign tasks to your team
Eggmed’s task assignment feature simplifies collaboration by allowing providers to delegate responsibilities within their team. Here’s an overview of how assigning tasks works:
When creating or editing a task via the Add Task button or by modifying an existing task, a slidout modal provides an Assignees input field where you can designate team members responsible for the task. Tasks you create are assigned to you by default, and every task must have at least one assignee, as unassigned tasks are not allowed. Assigned tasks appear on each assignee’s Task Board, keeping them informed and organized. Tasks can also be assigned to multiple team members, enabling shared accountability for completion. Note that tasks can only be assigned to team members, not clients, ensuring Task Boards remain focused on provider responsibilities.
To adjust task assignments, you can remove users by clicking the "x" next to their name tag in the Assignees input field or by deselecting names in the dropdown menu. This flexibility ensures task assignments remain accurate and up to date, making it easy to reassign tasks as needed.
Tasks can be linked to a client by adding their name in the Client field. While the client will not be notified of the task, the linked task will be visible in the Tasks tab on the client's profile. This ensures clarity when managing client-related tasks without disrupting client interactions.
