Responding to a message

Stay organized and responsive with Eggmed messaging

Effective communication is essential in managing client care, and Eggmed’s messaging system ensures that all messages are easily accessible and organized. Whether you need to respond to a client inquiry, follow up on an assigned task, or collaborate with a team member, replying to messages is a seamless process.

Accessing your messages

You can view your recent messages directly from the dashboard under the Recent Messages section or navigate to the Inbox tab for a full list. Unread messages are clearly marked in bold and display a red notification circle indicating the number of unread messages. This makes it easy to spot messages that need your attention.

Replying to a message

To respond to a message, simply click on it from the message list. This opens the conversation thread where you can type your reply in the input field and send it instantly. Messages are structured chronologically, keeping the entire conversation accessible in one place.

Why messages cannot be deleted or edited

In Eggmed, messages cannot be deleted or edited. This ensures that all communication remains transparent, traceable, and compliant with healthcare documentation standards. In a professional setting, maintaining an unaltered message history is crucial for accountability, as it prevents misinterpretations, protects against liability issues, and preserves an accurate record of interactions for future reference.
