Navigating the Eggmed calendar

The Schedule tab in Eggmed provides a streamlined way to manage your practice’s schedule. From viewing upcoming sessions to resolving conflicts, this guide will help you navigate the key features of the calendar and use them to your advantage.

Calendar views

The Schedule tab offers a weekly view by default, showing your sessions and events in an easy-to-read format. You can change the view to day, week, or month using the dropdown at the top for more flexibility.

Top bar features

The top bar of the Schedule tab includes several important tools for navigating and adjusting your calendar:

• Today button: Jump to the current day instantly, no matter where you are in the calendar.
• Month and year display: Quickly reference the time frame you’re viewing.
• Navigation arrows: Use the left and right arrows to move through the calendar by day, week, or month depending on your current view.
• Weekends checkbox: Choose to include or exclude weekends from your calendar view.
• Timezone dropdown: Change the time zone of your calendar to match different time zones as needed.
• Conflict indicator: This button highlights any overlapping sessions or events, helping you easily resolve scheduling conflicts.

Creating sessions and events

You can easily add new sessions or events using the Create button located in the bottom-right corner of the screen. After clicking, select whether you're creating a session or an event. For more details on how to create sessions and events, [check this article].

Managing sessions and events

Each session or event is represented by a card on the calendar. You can click on any card to see detailed information like the client’s name, session notes, and quick actions (edit or delete).

To reschedule a session or event, simply drag and drop the card to a new time slot. This quick and intuitive feature allows you to make adjustments on the fly without leaving the calendar view.

Categorizing services with colors

Below the compact calendar on the left, you’ll find a list of services colors. Tags allow you to categorize your sessions for easier organization and filtering.

Syncing with external calendars

Eggmed allows you to sync your calendar with external systems using one-way or two-way sync. This keeps your schedule up to date across all your platforms. For more information on syncing calendars, [check this article].

Conflict indicator

The Conflict Indicator button, located at the top of your calendar, helps you manage any overlapping sessions or events. Here’s how it works:

1. Conflict Alerts: When you have one or more scheduling conflicts, the Conflict Indicator will display a number showing how many overlapping sessions or events you currently have.
2. Click to Resolve: Clicking the Conflict Indicator opens a sidebar that lists all the conflicting events.
3. Managing Conflicts: In the sidebar, you’ll see which sessions or events overlap. From there, you can resolve conflicts by rescheduling or deleting sessions directly from the list. This feature ensures you stay on top of potential double-bookings and manage your time effectively.
